FLUENT LIGHTING / ONGOING MARKETING SUPPORT
A growing architectural lighting brand needed an online presence worthy of its products. I stepped in and built it, one practical improvement at a time.

The Challenge
Fluent Lighting had distinctive architectural luminaires, but no established social media presence and a basic website with little search optimization. Prospective customers had few ways to discover the company, and the experience did not communicate the quality or personality of the products.
How We Built Momentum
We started with LinkedIn and Instagram, giving Fluent a voice and a way to reach new audiences. The work expanded into a more useful website, SEO-minded product pages, technical explanations, and product visuals. As we worked, a clearer brand voice and message took shape. Next came print pieces and tools for independent lighting reps, followed by an email platform and contact list to connect directly with interested audiences.
The Results
Fluent now has coordinated marketing across social, web, print, sales tools, and email. During the week of the first email campaign, active users increased 77.4% and sessions increased 70.9% compared with the previous seven-day period. The email was sent on October 22, the day of a pronounced traffic spike; the timing supports an association, though it does not establish the email as the sole cause. The Disc product page also saw a 585.7% increase in views that week. Fluent’s president reports more specifications, quote requests, and sales since the broader marketing work began.
